When I acquired Kidaround Magazine in April of 2011, I hadn’t planned on becoming a magazine publisher; I simply didn’t want to see it go after five successful years in Sacramento, and neither did thousands of loyal Kidaround fans. Building upon Kidaround’s strong foundation has been a joyful and rewarding journey. It is a pleasure to serve the modern families of Sacramento that wait eagerly for each issue.

Collaborating with Sacramento’s best talent, and passionately working towards entertaining and informing readers, our mission is simply to make your day or touch your heart; whether you are sitting in the pediatrician’s office, at the dentist, salon, gymnastics, dance class, or relaxing for a moment at home.

Why is Kidaround free when it has the production quality of a paid-for magazine? We find it rewarding to see you reading Kidaround, it’s that simple. Kidaround disappears quickly from the over 300 distribution locations because we over-deliver on what you might expect from a “free” publication. Our high quality advertising partners are another important reason that we are able to offer something above and beyond your expectations.

Kidaround is a bi-monthly publication and that short time between issues really flies. We are growing and adding pages every day to make sure you are getting a lot of what you love: stories about local families, kids, health, events, cooking, and fashion! Kidaround is reaching out through it’s many partnerships and affiliations to be an important link to the heartbeat of our community. Like us on Facebook, and follow Kidaround on Twitter and Pinterest for the latest event and community information.
